Multilingualism and Europe
The topic of this workshop, ‘multilingualism’ is one of the hot topics which refers to different layers of our everyday life and the New Euro-generation is discussing.
The young generation is encouraged to be multilingual and still keeping the diversity in their own culture. By travelling through Europe by train, thus being able to see the landscape changing and get a sense of its physicality, the project aims to explore the question of multilingualism through film, by giving young people free range to discover this New Europe and how it speaks by themselves.
The New Eurogeneration is travelling, settling in different communities, speaking different languages; but still forming a unity in itself.

NISI MASA is changing its annual script contest
As of this year, it will become a direct Call for Scripts in the framework of European Short Pitch.
Initiated in 2007, European Short Pitch is a scriptwriting and pitching project aiming to support the development of young directors and to get their short films made as European coproductions. The 5th edition in 2011 will be composed of a rewriting sesion and a producer’s forum.

The 1st edition of the Nisimazine Abu Dhabi film journalism workshop will take place from 14th - 23rd October 2010.
8 participants, 4 from Europe and 4 from Arab countries, will attend the Abu Dhabi Film Festival and form an editorial team to create daily issues of Nisimazine Abu Dhabi...
