7arte is a non-profit cultural association which aims to support young Kosovan artists -especially filmmakers- promote and develop a common European culture.
The association is composed of young cinema enthusiasts and artists from different branches of art.
The first international project,DOKO YOMI (Documenting Kosovo’s Youth in Mitrovica- 2006), consisted of organising a documentary filmmaking workshop involving young adults from Kosovo and its neighbouring regions: Albania, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro, in order to produce a series of short documentary films about Mitrovica’s youth.
First Contact with NISI MASA: 7arte launched the NISI MASA European Script Contest in Kosovo for the first time in 2005 with the topic “Silence”.
