From the 3^rd – 8^th November 2009 the 8^th international Script Contest Jury Meeting took place in Belgium during the 36th Brussels International Independent Film Festival.

Young representatives from each local NISI MASA organisation  took part in this year’s script contest by gathering in Brussels, each of them equipped with the best script(s) of their country.

Two days of debating and analysing the screenplays - mentored by tutors– culminated in the announcement of the twelve winning scripts of the NISI MASA script contest 2009 on the 7th of November 2009. See the results here.

Alongside the Jury Meeting a seminar workshop took place to share the different experiences of each member organisation and to discuss daily challenges about funding for audiovisual organisations. The main objective was to improve the skills and methods of each NISI MASA member association and strengthen the whole NISI MASA network itself.
